I'm home.

Hey Everyone,
Just in case you hadn't heard. I wanted you all to know that I made it home safe and sound last night. I was very excited to see some of my friends and family. The trip was amazing and again I thank you all for your support throughout the entire trip. Thank you for being a part of such an awesome event in my life. I will be sending letters out hopefully soon which will include some pics, so be looking for those. Otherwise, again just thank you!

sunday, last day

Sunday...
Last day here. We are in between our last two sessions at the moment, so I have just a few minutes to write. Yesterday continued to be an awesome day. The delirious concert went great with around 6,000 in attendance! I was able to sit back and watch their lighting designer work. He was great. Very intune with the music. He clarified the definition of worshiping at whatever you do for me. It was a great inspiration.
Inspiration for today... why are you a christian? Just so you dont go to hell? Cause you want to change the world? Being a Christian means bringing heaven to earth for others. Are you striving for that?
Thanks for all of your prayers and support. I will leave here tomorrow around 8 am to head to the airport, getting home around 6:20pm your time. Please keep lanny and i in your prayers for safe travels, and the rest of the team. Can't wait to see you all again!
Love Mindy

Hey,
I actually have a few minutes to write today!!! Thanks to my parents who have been posting these for me. I have not been able to get on the blog in germany so im am emailing them to my parents. anyways, I am on Lanny comp. It is day 2 of the conference and Erwin McManus is in the middle of speaking as I type. First, I want to tell you thanks for all your prayers. I know that today I feel the power of God. I was extremely tired yesterday, and I got only four hours of sleep last night. Yet somehow today I am more awake and feel the power of God encouraging me. I know that a big part of that is all of your support and prayers back home, so thank you.
What have I been doing... hmm. Well, Tuesday and Wednesday we set up the entire lighting rig. You will understand how amazing this is when I am able to show you pics after I get home. Thursday was spent doing rehearsals for the band all day. Yesterday Friday was the first day of the conference so we spent the morning with rehearsals before it began. Today, the conference began again at 8:30 and goes all day, ending with a Delirious concert!!! For fans, you may know this, but it is there 3rd to last concert ever!
Sooo, why no sleep... life in lighting world is nuts. Though the conference may be done, or everyone else may be back at the hotel I am staying back at the venue with Chris Thomas, the lighting designer. Though I may only be taking notes or calling cues, I am learning so much. I know that without a doubt this is where God is calling me right now. It is not the glamour job, the typical day job, or the best paying. But to me, it is so rewarding to be able to set the mood with the lights. Yeah I may be weird but I really dont care. We are all weird right?
Well thanks for reading and thanks for taking time to pray. Please continue to do so. If I can encourage you in any way, it would be to love God with every single part of your life. Give everything up to Him and know that no matter what, you will be living a grand and fulfilling life. Erwin is taking about our soul's yearnings. The only one who can truly fulfill us, satisfy us, and love us completely. Our souls are screaming for God. We need love, faith, and hope. without them, our souls blackout. Take hope and believe!!!
I am coming home in two days, this week has gone so quick. Please know that I greatly miss you all back home, but that this trip has changed my life. I have had to completely rely on God, and once I prayed that He just takes everythings this morning, I have felt His love and power. Give it all up to Him and be fulfilled. Love you all

Friday

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that everything is going great. Thursday consisted of a long day of rehearsals followed by 4 hours of sleep. But today the conference started and it was awesome! My quote of the day from Bo Boshers, "though life isn't always easy, it's never complicated." if you give up yourself to God, life isn't complicated! Thanks for the continued prayers and support! Please pray for strength for the team and for Gods power to work in the hearts of those attending the conference.
Serving Him,
Mindy
