Wed. Happenings

Hey Michigan!
How is everyone? Well half way through my week and I am loving it! Today was crazy but we got all the lighting done and the hall is ready for rehearsals tomorrow. It's amazing what you can do in such little time! Please continue to pray for strength as the days are getting longer. I miss you all!

Hey everyone,
Well Tuesday was a crazy day! We started out the morning with the last day of real sleep, before going to the venues. These halls are huge!! We did devotions talking about how God pursues us in life and always has and will. Marty, our trip leader, talked about how God always shows up in places where people prepare for Him and how that is what we are doing. We then spent a while praying over the venues and the people who are coming to the conferences. It was a great way to start out the day.
From about 12 to 9pm, we were working hard. Starting out with nothing, we got a lot done. I am learning so much and I'm using my leadership qualities to teach others what I already know. This stuff is so cool though. It is 10 times bigger than anything I've ever done at least! But I am loving it, even though I'm super tired. Alright well I'm gonna sleep, cause we have an early morning tomorrow. We have to have everything completely set up by 6. Please pray for strength during the long week, and that I can continue to see God in all we do. Thank you all!
Love,
Mindy

Monday

Hey everyone, thanks for all your support and comments. It is really awesome to know that I have so many people supporting and praying for me. Yesterday we were really able to just take a day to relax off the long plane ride. Last night we went to one of the top ten craziest restaurants in the world. To hard to explain, so I'll post pics when I get home. We then went to a concert by Andy McKeys. Check him out on you tube. He's awesome! Today consists of meetings and touring the city, as everyone else is flying in. Tomorrow starts the real hard work, so please pray that I will take this time to adjust to things, before stuff really begins. The lord is apart of everything, and I'm so excited to see what He has in store for me this week. thanks again for all the prayers and support.

I've arrived

I arrived safely with 3 hours of sleep under my belt. Staying up to get on Germany time.

Today has gone awesome so far. At first I went out to town with the 6 guys who were here. We had some awesome lunch and then walked awhile. When we got back (4ish) another group was here so I went with marty and a guy named brian out to take the next group around town. There are a lot of cool old buildings and definitely a german town. Now we are going out to dinner soon and to some suprise place. Everyone is really nice and I am really loving it so far. I'm tired but it really didn't hit me till I sat down. Um yeah I didn't think there were any other students either but marty said that a senior in high school works with lights at one of willows off sites so he is coming, probably won't be here till tomorrow night. Honestly it is really cool to talk with all these people I don't know. They all have an awesome love for God! I met chris who I will be working under and he is really cool. I am so excited for this week! To see what God has planned! Please pray that I keep my eyes open to see Him and that I continue to stay strong. I am definitely treated like just another adult here and it is awesome yet nerveracking at times and humbling.

Hey,
Only 2 days left till I leave for Germany!!! I am getting super excited and can't wait to see what God will do in my life through this trip. Today I am finishing up most of high school, besides a biology final tomorrow. Life is changing and as nervous as I am, I am also very thrilled to be taking the next step in life and following God's awesome plan. I can't wait to see what He has is store. Thank you to all of you in my life who have given me support and encouragement. I would not be who I am today without you.
I received an email from our director for Germany this past week, and he asked us to have people pray for the following things. I thought I would share the list with you.

For the land of Germany: for justice, for peace, for understanding. Psalm 122:6-9
For health and strength for all of us. 1 Sam 25:6, Neh 8:10
For travel safety to and from Germany. Psalm 43:3
For team unity. John17:21
For the leaders of the teams, for good choices, good communication, sensitivity and patience. Gal 5:25
For all of us to grow in our in our love of Jesus and each other as we serve Him. Psalm 119:34-36, Deut 6:5
For us to be faithful witnesses during this trip wherever we go. 2 Tim 4:2
For God to be glorified in all that we do… for Him. Psalm 34:3

Thank you all for your encouragement and support. The next time I write, I will be in Germany!!!

Excitement

K, so I started this for a few different reasons. First, for work or future stuff my resume and stuff will be on here for people to check out. Second, to stay connected with friends and family as I follow God on my life journey. So, if you are reading this, welcome to my blog. I will be updating it as changes in life occur and God shows me new awesome things. My big excitement right now is Germany. Only 10 days left, and I am definitely getting pumped. Please start to pray for this trip and all that goes along with it. Pray for all those going and that they would see God's purpose for them. Pray for traveling safeties. And please pray specifically for me and that God will use me in amazing unexpected ways. Thank you. I know that I couldn't do this or feel this excitement about it if I didn't have the support of all of you who care.
In Christ's Love,
Mindy
